HomeSaver Replacement Fiberglass Stove Gasket is braided, not coiled, so it is not easily unraveled. It is easy to install - simply remove the old, worn, frayed gasket, clean the surface, and glue in a new gasket. You’ll need Stove Gasket Cement, below, to do the job.
The black gasketing is graphite impregnated. This allows it to withstand abrasion better than any other gasket and it handles heat up to 1000 F. Because it’s black, it blends beautifully - almost invisibly - around glass doors.
